Engaging, natural photography for big-hearted families

Newborn babies are tiny little bundles for such a short amount of time. It flashes past in a heartbeat – before you know it, they’re toddling around all by themselves! Capturing those first few months is so important, so you can treasure those precious memories forever. Newborn photos are also meaningful keepsakes for wonderful grandparents and relatives, so you can share your bundle of joy with your nearest and dearest.

A newborn photo shoot is a magical, sentimental time. I capture a mix of lightly-placed poses and spontaneous organic moments, keeping it as authentic as possible at all times. Think sweet snuggles on the sofa, nuzzles and nose kisses, tiny toes and everything in between.

How it works

I’ll come armed with cosy fluffy blankets, a huge soft bean bag and a few simple pretty headbands (totally optional!) to work with. Your comfort and enjoyment are always my number one priority, so we’ll work around feeds and changes to make the absolute most of our time together. It doesn’t matter whether your little one is snoozing or wide awake – dozy shots and big wide-eyed snaps are equally as heart-melting!

Shoots last around 90-180 minutes, and we can get siblings, pets and other family members involved in the fun! I’ll scope out areas in your home that are light, airy and personal to you, and we’ll use those as our backdrop for family shots. Authenticity is so important (no babies posing in cabbage leaves!). We’ll work through some simple, gentle prompts and super natural poses.
