Hello...

I'm Emma, the face behind the camera. There’s nothing I love more than snapping gorgeous photos, and spending time in the outdoors with my lovable beardy husband and two (extremely cheeky) little ones, Fearne and Ted. I’ve been a ‘proper’ photographer for over a decade, starting my journey shooting models in London before realising my passion lies in family photography. After having my own family, the penny dropped and I realised how important it is to capture all the little details and moments that make you smile.

There’s something so uniquely special about photographing precious seconds: your children giggling and running around like wild things, cuddles with your gorgeous newborn, or loved-up moments with your partner. These times seem to fly by at the speed of light – but photography is the secret key to capturing them forever (just one of the reasons I love it so much).

A photoshoot gives you the gift of quality time together. A hilarious morning running around after squealing children, a sleepy afternoon snuggling your newborn, or a glowing sunset with your partner and baby bump. The results are relaxed, effortless and authentically you.

After I started snapping gorgeous moments for lots of wonderful families, I never looked back.

I absolutely love what I do, and that passion shines through in my photography.

If I’m going to be spending quality time with your lovely family, it’s only fair that I let you in on some little secrets.  Let’s get up-close-and-personal – here are some fun facts about me...

- I’m a wannabe dog mama - I would LOVE a dog.

- I have a ridiculous houseplant obsession (maybe to make up for the fact that I don’t have a dog?)

- I love nothing more than pushing myself and being adventurous. I've jumped out of a plane, done a ridiculously high bungee jump (not going to lie - I cried!), I’ve been travelling on my own, and I’ve lived with a family in the Philippines.

- To carry on with the fearless theme, I climbed Kilimanjaro in 2019, did a UK 10 peak challenge in 2021 and trekked 100km across the Sahara Desert in 2022!

- I love a cuppa and a good natter – and a glass of wine (life’s all about balance!).

- There’s nothing better than live music, festivals and a good old boogie.

- I am obsessed with light. Yep, you read that right. Seeing the sun peak through the trees makes me so happy – I drive my husband mad when I pass a beautiful field I've not seen before and demand we turn around so I can check it out and pin it on a map!

Emma has been fantastic at capturing such wonderful memories and moments for us from pregnancy through to first smiles. Emma is friendly, puts you at ease, has great ideas and is really knowledgable about her craft. The results are amazing. I would highly recommend Emma for all your photography needs!
